MEDIA CONTROL

A Special Report On News Bias And Corporate Manipulation

Why Don't We Know The Truth? Because Corp Media Is Biased
Don't Believe It? Here's The Proof! Conflict of Interest Media Links To The CFR

Oftentimes in life when real truth presents itself to the unknowing, or those who have been misled, the first response is, "Well, if that was really true it would be on the nightly news."

Well folks, the painful truth is, our corporate owned, billionaire-run media is not telling you the truth. To be painfully blunt, they don't want you to know.

After 25 years of media experience, this reporter can state matter of factly that our media is in bed with the "powers that be." One glaring example, all of our major network news anchors are members of the Council on Foreign Relations. This is something which is expressly taboo in honest journalism, yet the relationship is a provable fact. Here is the undeniable truth, with the hyperlinks...

Network anchors: NBC's Brian Williams, CBS's Katie Couric, and ABC's Diane Sawyer. Former anchors Dan Rather (CBS) and Tom Brokaw (NBC) are also members. Other key news media members include Bob Schieffer (CBS), Barbara Walters (ABC), Judy Woodruff (CNN), Paula Zahn (CNN), Lesley Stahl (CBS 60-Minutes), George R. Stephanopoulos (ABC), Jim Lehrer (PBS), David R. Gergen, (CNN), Fareed Zakaria (CNN), Terry Moran (ABC), Charlie Rose (PBS), Rupert Murdoch (NewsCorp/FOX), Bernard Kalb (CNN), MSNBC's Mika Brzezinski, Morton Kondracke (The McLaughlin Group/Roll Call), Garrick Utley (NBC/CNN), and Monica Crowley (Talk-Radio).

Print journalists and columnists include Katrina vanden Heuvel (The Nation), Peggy Noonan (Wall Street Journal), David Schlesinger (Reuters), Judith Miller (NY Times), Gene Lyons (Salon),  Charles Krauthammer (columnist), Marc A. Thiessen (columnist), David E. Sanger (NY Times), David Remnick (The New Yorker), Jack Rosenthal (NY Times), P.J. O'Rourke (columnist), James L. McGregor (journalist), Jon Meacham (Newsweek/PBS), Daniel P. Henninger (Wall Street Journal/FOX), Jim Hoagland (Washington Post), David B. Ensor (journalist), Sidney S. Blumenthal (Salon), and Mark Helprin (Time), to name but a few.

There are indeed more media members, but by now I certainly hope you get the point.

In broadcast school and journalism we were taught two basic fundamentals:

1) Seek out and follow the truth, because it is the story.

2) Do not become involved in entangling alliances that prevent you from adhering to rule number one.

So why would key members of our corporate media become members in a group that exists, at the minimum, to affect foreign policy, and at the extreme, to manipulate it for the new world order?

This is a clear-cut conflict of interest, plain and simple. If you don't get that, you need to. You need to understand that our media is clearly in bed with an arguably nefarious organization that has a history of meddling in foreign affairs. The role of the news media is to be a watchdog, to investigate groups such as this, not be in league with it as part of its membership. This is egregious conduct and these members should be ashamed of their affiliation, not proud of it.

So if the CFR takes a position against Iraq, Egypt or Libya, how do you truly expect the news media to report the real truth with an unbiased look at the facts?

Our media is controlled, and has been ever since the early 1900s. Don't believe that? Read the official U.S. Record, volume 54, dated February 9, 1917. Congressman Oscar Calloway noted it for all the world to see, but if you don't look for it, don't expect our media to tell you about it.

If all of this is indeed news to you, then more than likely you know nothing about the CIA's efforts to infiltrate the media through Operation Mockingbird, in order to control our news system and to spread media disinformation in the U.S.

The point of this article is, do not trust the corporate owned media!

Hopefully this highlights the absurdity of the gullible response, "Well, if it was really true it would be on the nightly news."

Such a naive observation couldn't be further from the truth.

The real truth is very seldom ever on the nightly news, especially when it comes to the "powers that be." Once in a great while we have had exceptions to the rule, but sadly enough, because of concentrated corporate media ownership, along with biased media affiliations, such as with the CFR, the exceptions are becoming fewer and farther between.
