MADISON, Wisconsin (Reuters) - Thousands of union supporters
protested Gov. Scott Walker's budget proposals on Saturday at the state capital,
a day after the state's chief executive followed through on his threat to issue
layoff warning notices to unions representing state workers.
Joining the crowd was liberal filmmaker Michael
Moore, who praised the protesters gathered in the battle over
union bargaining rights as joining the history of the American
labor movement. ... (Read

You have to hand it to Scott Walker -- he's
a wingnut true believer, with the charming personality of a rock and
absolutely
all the political instincts of a dead fish. Because Wisconsin voters
are awake now, they know that class war is being waged, and they're not
going to sit and take it.
Looks like his
arrogance will cost him big-time. A new poll shows that an estimate
1.1 million Wisconsin voters are willing to sign his recall petition,
and that of eight Republican state senators.
Yes, elections have consequences. But when
you act as if you're the only person whose opinions count, well, the
voters have a way of reminding you otherwise.
FOX News And O'Reilly Once Again Show Wrong
Footage On The Heels of The Ron Paul Deception, FOX News
Tries To Deceive On Protests
NewsFocus - 030311
FOX News has once again attempted to deceive its viewers
regarding the Wisconsin protests. They have been caught doing this on so
many occasions now, it has to be assumed that they are dishonest in
disseminating news, or perhaps just inept at doing the job of ethical
journalism. Anyone that watches FOX News is being fed propaganda and
disinformation. That is proven fact. The only people who don't realize
this are brainwashed FOX viewers, or die-hard, far right
Republicans, not to mention Aryan racists and Nazi lovers.
So what will be the excuse this time for running
deceptive video footage? What FOX is trying to do is make the protesters
appear to be mean and unruly, when in fact the opposite is true. The
protests have been totally peaceful, with police support, but the folks
at "Fair & Balanced" had to show footage from an aggressive protest in
California. Yup, the folks at FOX are also blind-ass stupid,
because not only did they miss the lack of snow in the background, they
also missed the visible palm trees that did show up. Unbelievable!
The FCC refuses to get involved, hiding behind the fact
that FOX is a satellite operation. They regulate content over the
airwaves, but are unwilling to evolve with the medium. When asked why
they will make new efforts to get involved in net neutrality, a medium
that clearly crosses satellites, but they still ignore regulation of
satellite television, this reporter was angrily hung up on. An
interesting response.
What we need to combat FOX is an
amendment to the FCC charter. Please call your Congressional
representatives and ask them to amend the FCC charter to cover satellite
broadcast. If you don't, it will only get worse.
Police Chief Asks Walker To Explain ‘Troubling’ Comments "I spent a good deal of time overnight thinking about Governor
Walker's response, during his news conference yesterday, to the
suggestion that his administration 'thought about' planting
troublemakers among those who are peacefully protesting his bill," Wray
said in a statement." I would like to hear more of an explanation from
Governor Walker as to what exactly was being considered, and to what
degree it was discussed by his cabinet members." ...
NewsFocus: We bailed out the Wall Street criminals and
crooked "banksters" who caused this economic crash. We also gave the
ultra-wealthy, people who have profited enormously during this economic
disaster, their precious Bush tax cuts extension. And then Congressman
Ron Paul says the Federal Reserve went overboard giving out more in
bailouts than we were aware of, paying anywhere from $9-trillion to
$16-trillion to foreign central banks and other fat cat financial
institutions. Despite all of the socialized wealth insurance for the
rich, they seem to think that the middle and lower classes will bare the
burden for their fiscal malfeasance. Well, we've got news for them, the
people are waking up, and we're pissed!
